Last week, category one Hurricane Sandy ravaged the East Coast, crippling New York City’s public transit and leaving over 100 people dead, millions without power, and hundreds of people homeless. The damage of this powerful storm is estimated to top $50 billion. With close ties to the New York City neighborhoods devastated by the storm, David Laurent, owner of NightlifeSD, and GMG partners were compelled to help the hurricane victims, many of whom include friends and family.
